**General Labourer/ Driver**

**Description**:
**Roles and responsibilities**:

- Pick-up and delivery of parts and components around the Calgary Area
- Hook up and tow trailer safely
- Load and rig material safely and correctly onto trailer and vehicle
- Pick up and deliver parts and components area ranging max 300km
- Safely operate forklift to unload and load deliveries, manipulate, and organize material at Allied facility
- Safe operation of overhead crane to manipulate material and off load and load material inside the Allied facility
- Cleaning and organization of facility
- Help in general tasks utilizing hand tools, grinders, die grinders, impact wrenches etc.
- Assist Welders, Machinists, Millwrights and Electricians.
- Perform basic maintenance on equipment and vehicles
- Perform inspections of vehicles and equipment
- Adhere to all company Health and Safety Policy Rules

**Requirements**:

- Must have a class 5 Drivers Licence and a clean drivers abstract
- Experience towing flat deck trailers
- Experience rigging and securing cargo
- Must have experience operating a forklift
- Must have experience operating overhead cranes
- Must be mechanically inclined and have a history of Mechanical work
- Must be familiar with the use of hand and power tools
- Must have good communication skills and speak fluent English
