**PURPOSE**:
The Cabinet Maker/ Installer will make and install our cabinets and millwork products as per the project scope and play a crucial role in transforming design plans into functional and aesthetically pleasing cabinetry solutions. They require a combination of technical skills, attention to detail, craftsmanship, and effective communication. The incumbent ensures timely and accurate installation of high-quality products which meet client specifications.

**REPORTS TO**:
This position reports to the Production Manager.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Reviewing Plans and Specifications and design plans before starting work.
- Understand the layout, dimensions, materials, and any special requirements for the cabinets.
- Preparing the Work Area**:This may involve removing old cabinets, clearing the space, and ensuring that the area is clean and ready for installation**.**:

- Accurately measuring and marking for cabinet installation to ensure that everything aligns correctly according to the design plans.
- Installing Cabinets**:This includes positioning the cabinets accurately, securing them to the wall or floor, leveling them to ensure they are straight and aligned, and making any necessary adjustments for a perfect fit.
- Cutting and Trimming**:may need to cut or trim cabinets, countertops, or other materials to fit irregular spaces, accommodate plumbing or electrical fixtures, or meet specific design requirements.
- Installing Hardware and Accessories
- Ensuring Quality and Safety: Throughout the installation process, ensuring the quality of workmanship, check for any defects or damages, and make necessary corrections or replacements. They also follow safety protocols to prevent accidents or injuries on the job site.
- Communicating with Clients and Team Members to coordinate schedules, discuss project details, address any concerns or changes, and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Completing Documentation and Cleanup**.**

- Ensure Storemark safety requirements are always carried out.

- Complete tasks in a defined period, adjusting to changing priorities.

**QUALIFICATIONS**:

- Experience in cabinet making/installing (minimum 5 Year Experience)
- Experience in commercial and residential millwork.
- Cabinet Making with Installation experience
- Finish Carpentry experience
- Ability to read shop drawings.
- Deliver and maintain high quality products and workmanship to clients and contractors.
- Display adaptability to a wide variety of tasks and multi-task.
- Able to complete tasks in a defined period while adjusting to changing priorities.
- Experience in the Construction Industry or working in the trades (e.g. Carpentry)
- Strong commitment to excellence and attention to detail
- Time management and ability to manage multiple tasks.
- Experience installing wood, metal, laminates and stone components.
- Good problem solver
- Self-Motivated and ability to work in high paced environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Team Player and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently.
- Must have valid driver’s license.
- Ensure Storemark safety requirements are followed at all times.
- Ability to lift 75lbs.

This is a full-time position, with salary and benefits which commensurate with qualifications and experience.
