To continue to support the work that we do, the Foundation is looking for a full-time Donation Coordinator to join our team. This is a hybrid role.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Process and record donations (cash and in-kind) accurately.
- Maintain and update donor records and mailing lists.
- Generate donation receipts and donor communications.
- Analyze donor data to support targeted fundraising efforts.
- Reconcile income records and ensure data integrity.
- Support third-party and in-kind giving initiatives.
- Assist with donor prospecting and personalized outreach.
- Coordinate logistics for fundraising and awareness events.
- Provide support and leadership to volunteers.
- Participate in donor stewardship activities, including thank-you calls and recognition efforts
**Knowledge, Skills, and Qualifications**:
- Post-secondary education in a relevant field and professional designation preferred.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in the nonprofit sector.
- Knowledge of CRA gift processing guidelines.
- Experience with donor databases (Canada Helps preferred).
- Proficient in Microsoft 365, Excel, Formsite, and data reporting tools.
- Strong attention to detail and time management.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Skilled in maintaining organized office and digital systems.
Employment at Family & Children's Services of the Waterloo Region is conditional upon the verification of credentials and employment, a satisfactory police check, and a satisfactory Child Welfare check.
**Salary Range**:$63,272.27 - $80,500 per annum (Excluded, Grade 4)
**Hours of Work**:34 hours per week
