Hope Thrift Store exists to support faith-based orphanages in Mexico and local charities. As a mission-driven thrift store, we are passionate about giving items a second life while creating lasting impact locally and abroad.

**Position Summary**
We are looking for a creative and motivated Retail & Online Sales Associate to join our team. This role is a unique mix of in-store retail support and digital engagement. You’ll help serve customers in-store while also creating & managing our **Shopify website and social media platforms** to connect with a broader audience.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Assist with day-to-day store operations including customer service, merchandising, and cashier duties.
- Create/ Manage and update our **Shopify website**, including product listings, descriptions, and photos.
- Create engaging content for **social media platforms** (Facebook, Instagram, etc.) to promote sales, new arrivals, and community events.
- Collaborate with the Operations Manager on marketing ideas, promotions, and online campaigns.
- Monitor online sales and customer interactions to help grow our digital presence.
- Support the store mission by combining retail service with online engagement.

**Qualifications**
- Retail or customer service experience preferred.
- Experience with **Shopify**, Google, Facebook, Instagram, Facebook Market place selling
- Familiarity with **social media management** (posting, scheduling, engagement).
- Creative skills in photography, Canva, or content creation are a bonus.
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Alignment with Hope Thrift Store’s mission and values.

**Compensation & Hours**
- Starting: TBD (based on experience & qualifications).
- Days: Tuesday to Saturday (Sunday and Monday off)
- Tuesday to Friday 8:30am to 5pm, Saturday 10am to 4pm

Pay: $15.80-$20.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 30 per week
