Medical Receptionist

We are looking for a Medical Receptionist for our Forest Hill location located conveniently at Eglinton Ave West & Bathurst. You will be directly assisting our Chronic Pain specialists and their patients.

GSH Pain Management clinics provide a wide array of treatments and services to help patients suffering from many different conditions that cause chronic pain. The clinic uses a multi-disciplinary and holistic approach to help patients gain control over their pain and improve the quality of their lives. Our team of anesthesiologists and pain management physicians review each case to determine the best course of action and develop a custom treatment plan tailored to meet the patients needs.

**In addition to hands on responsibilities on the front desk, Typical duties will include**:

- Greeting patients in a professionally and efficient;
- Answer phones and manage requests in a professional manner;
- Monitor and answer online requests and messages;
- Schedule appointments with patients;
- Billing, invoicing and receipt preparation (for non-OHIP services);
- Maintaining patient privacy & confidentiality;
- Being able to deal with stress in a productive manner;
- Create and contribute to a welcoming atmosphere;
- Have strong problem solving skills and ability to multitask;
- Collaboration with our physicians and nursing staff

**What you will need to be successful**:

- 1-3 years progressive experience in a medical/dental clinic environment; Specialist clinic is preferred
- Experience with an EMR system; PS Suite Preferred
- High degree of accuracy
- Strong organizational skills;
- Strong patient experience background

**Education**:

- College or university degree/diploma
- Diploma from a recognized medical office administration program desirable.

**Hours of work**:

- Monday-Thursday 9:30am-5:30pm
- Friday 9:00am-5:00pm
