Inventory Technician

**Where We Work and Live**:
The Jansen discovery Lodge is a workforce housing facility in support of the potash mine. The camp is located 155 kilometers east of Saskatoon, SK.

Our positions work on a 14 day on, 14 days off rotation. Accommodations and meals during your work rotations are provided by the company.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Receive, inspect, and store all warehouse stock
- Pull parts/supplies from shelves and prepare them for distribution to technicians on a daily basis
- Fill orders for supplies and equipment as required by work order as well as approved expenditure
- Issue supplies and equipment to technicians as requested
- Prepare and return parts/supplies as required
- Prepare and arrange shipping manifests
- Take monthly inventories, verify inventory reconciliation, overage, storage and damages
- Maintain safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet area, and workstations neat; maintaining clean shipping supply area; complying with procedures, rules, and regulations
- Ensure that all paperwork is properly executed and filed accordingly
- Update and work with SAP
- Maintain inventory of tooling and report defects to management for repair
- Work with tools and maintain the tool sign out register
- Perform related tasks as required.

**QUALIFICATIONS**
- High School diploma
- Class 5 license and clean drivers abstract is required
- Forklift, skid steer., WHMIS and CSTS certifications required
- 3-5 years prior experience in a similar role required
- Proficiency using MS Office software including Excel
- SAP Software experience preferred
- Fall Arrest, Confined Space and Aerial Platform certifications considered an asset
- Strong time management, organization, and documentation skills
- Prior experience generating reports and completing inventory control
- Experience with Site Sense inventory management system
