Lumber Yard Worker

**Job Overview**

**Duties**
- Perform heavy lifting and manual labor tasks as needed to support yard operations.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, Delivery trucks, and other heavy machinery safely and efficiently.
- Assist with shipping and receiving processes, including loading and unloading materials from trucks.
- Engage in order picking activities, ensuring accurate selection of items for shipment.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment in compliance with safety standards.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of tasks and adherence to operational goals.
- Conduct routine inspections of equipment to ensure proper functioning and report any issues promptly.

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience in warehouse distribution or similar roles is preferred.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds) consistently throughout the shift.
- Familiarity with order picking processes and shipping/receiving operations is advantageous.
- Experience operating forklifts or other heavy equipment is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Excellent teamwork skills with a commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.
- Willingness to work flexible hours as needed.
- Able to drive Manual transmission a bonus
