**Job Description**:
AECOM is searching for a Municipal/Civil EIT to be based in our Calgary Office, AB office.

The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

- Assist Senior Engineer with a design of civil systems associated with municipal water and/or wastewater /drainage conveyance facilities.
- Perform construction inspections,
- Perform construction contract administration.
- Prepare documentation for design projects and reports.
- Prepare construction cost estimates.
- Assist in the preparation of project specifications and contract documents.
- Additional responsibilities will include assistance with proposal preparation; contract preparation and negotiation and coordination with regulatory agencies.

**Qualifications**:
**Minimum Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering (or equivalent)
- 2+ years of related experience with civil engineering, design, construction inspection, and contract administration.
- Experience with municipal water, wastewater and/or stormwater conveyance and pumping infrastructure.
- Proficient with MS Office Suite.
- Registered as EIT (or ability to do so within 6 months)

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to communicate effectively with colleagues, contractors and clients.
- Comfortable working in a multi-disciplinary environment.
- Experience in the condition assessment of municipal infrastructure is a benefit.
- Experience in proposal writing and job scoping is a benefit.
