**CLIENT CARE ASSISTANT**

**JOB DESCRIPTION**

FUNCTIONAL RESPONSIBILITY:
The Client Care Assistant will assist with client care and the necessary needs of the Centre on that shift.

QUALIFICATIONS:

- Completion of High School diploma
- Knowledge in the addictions field
- Current CPR and First Aid Certificate
- Valid Class 5 driver’s license
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Capable of performing job task with mínimal supervision

RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Assist with client care, non-medical treatment, and housekeeping duties of the Centre
- Assist in gathering and collecting data on clients
- Assist in maintaining adequate records as required for that shift
- Assist in meal distribution on pertaining shift
- Attend scheduled staff meetings
- Participate in professional development opportunities as required
- Other duties as assigned

**Job Type**: Casual

Pay: $20.92 per hour

Expected hours: 8 - 24 per week

Flexible language requirement:

- French not required

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- On call
- Weekends as needed

**Education**:

- Secondary School (preferred)

**Experience**:

- addiction work: 1 year (required)
