**Job Summary**

**Responsibilities**
- Safely operate delivery vehicles to transport goods to designated locations.
- Load and unload freight, ensuring that items are secured properly during transit.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation for each trip.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while driving.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing any inquiries or concerns during deliveries.
- Assist in the maintenance of delivery vehicles, including basic automotive repairs as needed.

**Experience**
- Previous experience in commercial driving is preferred, with a valid commercial driver's license (CDL) if required by the position.
- Familiarity with freight handling, including loading and unloading procedures.
- Experience operating forklifts or heavy equipment is a plus.
- Strong understanding of vehicle maintenance and automotive repair is advantageous.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with customers and team members efficiently.
