Customer Service Representative

Toronto, Canada The Iceman Full time

Monday to Friday and a weekend day or holiday during the busy season (May to Sept.)

$23-$25/hour depending on experience

**Responsibilities**:

- Comfortably talk to customers on the phone and provide them with quotes and take orders related to the best suited ice products for them
- Tactfully resolve customers complaints to retain customers and satisfy their concerns
- Correctly record customer information and interactions in our customer relationship management system
- Complete all orders accurately and forward them to dispatch for fulfillment
- Process payments for customers
- Follow up with customers as directed by sales staff
- Develop and maintain a knowledge of products, pricing and customer service policies
- Work well with the Operations Team to ensure customer expectations are met
- Other duties as assigned

**Required Skills & Qualifications**:

- Minimum one year CSR experience in a telephone-based customer service/order taking role is required
- Strong proficiency in the use of MS office and ability to quickly learn CRM software (experience using CRM software is an asset)
- Superior customer service skills; especially the ability to build strong customer relationships
- Strong verbal and written communication skills including the ability to communicate in a clear and professional manner on the phone
- Ability to learn quickly and attention to detail are a must
- Must be able to deal with ambiguity and a strong ability to work in a very fast paced environment with occasional spurts of high stress/pressure
- Ability to work with mínimal supervision, but as a dependable and reliable member of a team who contributes to a positive work environment
- High school or equivalency (a post-secondary degree in sales/marketing or business administration is an asset)
