Bedford, Canada Tabrizi Rugs - Retail Store Full time

**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Identify and evaluate potential international trade opportunities and global partnerships.
- Study international market research and trends to determine consumer demand, potential sales volumes, and effect of competitors' operations on sales.
- Manage the import of rugs products, including overseeing logistics and shipping, quality and inventory control.
- Determine merchandise and services to be sold, and implement price and credit policies.
- Develop and implement marketing strategies.
- Plan, direct and evaluate the daily operations of our rug retail store.
- Manage staff and assign duties, conduct sales forecasting activities and set performance goals accordingly.
- Source and negotiate with vendors when necessary to procure merchandise for resale.
- Plan budgets, authorize expenditures, and monitor revenues.
- Evaluate and improve customer service and respond to customer requests and issues.
- Address staffing requirements, including the hiring, training, development, and retention of staff.

**Skills and Qualification**:

- A university degree in international trade, business administration, marketing, commerce, or economics is preferred.
- Three years of related sales experience in international business at increasing levels of responsibility is required.

Tabrizi Rugs Retail Store is one of the largest and most reputable rugs stores in Atlantic Canada. We have been serving customers across Atlantic Canada for over 30 years. We carry thousands of rugs of all kinds, directly imported from all over the world, especially Oriental countries.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $34.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 per week

- Bachelor's Degree (preferred)
