**THE ROLE** - Manager of Information Systems

The Manager of Information Systems will play a pivotal role in leveraging technology and data to enhance operational business performance, optimize financial reporting & invoicing processes, and improve customer service. You will work closely with leadership and cross-functional teams to deliver actionable insights, automate workflows, and ensure that data is effectively captured, analyzed, and used to drive strategic initiatives.

We need someone who is knowledgeable in, and able to action all facets of corporate Information Systems, including but not limited to:

- Team Leadership & Development: Lead and develop a team of data and business analysts. Provide mentorship, establish best practices for data management, and foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
- Data Strategy & Leadership: Develop and execute a comprehensive data strategy aligned with business goals. Lead a data-driven culture across the organization, empowering departments to use data for informed decision-making.
- Business Intelligence (BI) & Reporting: Utilize Power BI to build dashboards, visualizations, and reports that offer insights into key operational and financial metrics. Ensure real-time data access to support waste management optimization, contract performance, and customer satisfaction.
- Microsoft Power Apps Development: Oversee the development and customization of Microsoft Power Apps to automate processes, improve workflow efficiency, and enhance internal operations. Collaborate with various teams to identify areas for automation and digital transformation.
- CRM & Data Integration: Lead the management and optimization of the company's CRM system, ensuring seamless integration with other operational software including customer portal. Work to ensure that customer data, sales information, and operational data are fully integrated for holistic reporting and analysis.
- Operational Software Management: Oversee the integration and performance of other core operational software systems, ensuring that they meet the needs of the business, from waste management tracking to logistics optimization. Manage data flow between these systems and ensure accurate data collection.
- Data Governance & Compliance: Ensure data quality, security, and privacy standards are upheld. Develop and implement data governance policies to ensure accurate, compliant, and efficient data management practices across the company.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with leadership, finance, operations, sales, and customer service teams to identify data needs and opportunities for improvement. Support various departments by providing actionable insights that enhance business performance and efficiency.
- Performance Analysis & Forecasting: Use data analysis to forecast future business needs, identify trends, and measure the success of waste management programs. Provide strategic insights that help drive cost savings as well as optimize contract performance and sustainability goals for clients.
- SharePoint Expertise: Supervision of company SharePoint intranet development.
- IT Oversight: Management of MSP providing IT services to the organization.

**REQUIREMENTS**
- Formal education in Information Systems or related discipline. Equivalent experience also considered.
- 5+ years of leadership experience in data management, business intelligence, or a similar role.
- Prior experience in high data volume service-based industry is preferred.

**TECHNICAL ABILITIES**
- Strong understanding of data management, database structures, ecosystem strategies and integration of multiple data sources.
- Expertise in Power BI for building advanced analytics dashboards and reports.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Power Apps for business process automation and custom app development.
- Experience working with CRM systems (HubSpot or Salesforce experience an asset) and integrating data with operational systems.
