**Your opportunity**:
**Your responsibilities will include**:

- Acting as the first point of contact for students and provides detailed explanations to current and prospective undergraduate students
- Advising students on program and/or course requirements by probing and providing a range of options and possible consequences
- Providing detailed information on program and/or course eligibility requirements, procedures, policies and deadlines, outreach to prospective students
- Coordinating the recruitment of teaching assistants and invigilators
- Providing information to undergraduate students on future pathways to research opportunities, graduate program and career pathways
- Determining logístical details and activities for events and/or programming; liaising with internal and external contacts to coordinate execution of seminars and workshops
- Support undergraduate student experiential learning activities by providing information to students of programming; delivering presentations to promote programs, opportunities and/or initiatives including mentorship program

**Essential Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's Degree or acceptable combination of equivalent education and experience.
- Minimum three (3) years relevant experience with student services and program administration. Prior relevant experience administering undergraduate programs and student internship/ outreach programs is required
- Experience advising students
- Experience planning and coordinating student outreach initiatives, special events and workshops.
- Experience working with student information databases or equivalent, including data entry and preparing reports.
- Demonstrated ability to edit promotional material.
- Knowledge and experience using social networking tools on behalf of an organization.
- Demonstrated advanced skills in Microsoft office including Excel, PowerPoint, Access, and Word.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills and interpersonal skills.
- Customer service-focused on the needs of internal and external stakeholders
- Strong organizational and time management skills to manage a variety of tasks and meet overlapping deadlines
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team-oriented environment

**Assets (Nonessential)**:

- Knowledge of and familiarity with academic and professional communities relevant to programs are valuable.
