The Ministry of the Solicitor General, Ontario Provincial Police, and the Bureau Commander of Business Management is seeking a qualified individual to join our Unit. In this exciting, rewarding and challenging opportunity, you will plan, manage, and coordinate a program or service operation within a key ministry program area, and to provide leadership and supervision to a team of specialists in delivering programs and services. You will manage multiple and diverse work units focusing on operational policy, records and information management, privacy records analysis and data archival, storage and printing. You will develop and recommend evidence based program or service delivery options, and best operational practices and standards, to better achieve ministry program objectives. Information Management Section provides policy analysis and interpretation through research, review and stakeholder consultation, management of Police Orders©, publishing approved policy, maintaining the OPP Field Guide as well as an archive of OPP policy; development and maintenance of a centralized forms repository, standardized records management tools and best practices for information management; and coordinating responses to contentious Freedom of Information requests, and Third Party Motions. The OPP Print Shop also resides within this section.
