**Freight / Courier / delivery Driver**

Must reside in Alert Bay

**Part time**

**Guaranteed 22 hrs per week**

**Starting at approximately 1130 Am Mon -Fri**

**90 minutes a day will for travel on BC Ferries**

**- Available to work Monday to Friday from approximately 1130 - 1600**

**Flexibility of start and end times will be required occasionally due to service delays on the ferry system because of weather or mechanical issues.**

**Collect freight items from various locations in Alert Bay**

**Depart Alert Bay with Freight on the noon ferry**

**Deliver and collect freight in Port McNeill**

**Return on 1400 ferry to Alert Bay to Deliver Collected freight**

**Responsible for maintaining a clean vehicle and securing the company vehicle overnight in alert bay for use the following day.**

Excellent Verbal Communications skills;
- Customer service and/or driving experience is an asset
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, customer facing and outside environment
- Comfortable working in various weather conditions
- Must have a VALID BC CLASS 5 DRIVER’S LICENSE
- Must have a clean driving and criminal record

References RQD
- Ability to lift up parcels weighing between 2lbs and 150 lbs”with dolly unassisted.
