The Edmonton EXPO Centre is looking for **Cook #1** who will be vital to executing the events coming through the venue, including **K-Days** and **Farmfair International**
- Using cooking skills in the production of new food dishes using modern food technology and methods
- Observe methods of food preparation by feel, taste and smell while viewing colors, textures and garnishments
- Ensure correct and timely distribution of food or product
- Rotate all items in refrigerators to minimize spoilage
- Ensure proper transportation, handling and storage of goods and materials
- Ensure proper operation of equipment to avoid injury, break-down or damage.
- Ensure all areas in the kitchen are kept clean and tidy at all times
- Grade 10 education
- Ability to prioritize, assess problems and make prompt decisions
- Able to carry up to 50 lbs at times
- effective communication skills
- a well-developed sense of taste and smell
