Osmow's is a modern Mediterranean restaurant in Waterloo.

We're hiring full time/part time Kitchen Crew Member for both Waterloo store.

The role of the crew member will be to cut vegetables, prepare foods such as chicken, beef and lamb, food sales, cash handling, cleaning, focus on good customer service and hygiene within the restaurant.

Marketing such as flyers distribution in the area to promote the restaurant & sales.

Responsibilities and Duties
- Cash Handling
- Operate POS and credit card/debit card terminals
- Maintain accurate cash drawer during shift
- Take a tally of the funds in the cash register when required during a shift and produce transaction reports
- Memorize product locations throughout the restaurant
- Help new customers in choosing their menu or make suggestions and as well up selling of other products
- Handle customer complaints in an efficient manner
- Keep the checkout area clean and all food prep fully stock.
- Performs any combination of the following duties to maintain kitchen work areas and restaurant equipment and utensils in clean and orderly condition: Sweeps and mops floors, Washroom/Toilet cleaning, wall & window cleaning, clean behind every equipment from time to time
- Provide good customer service and keep customer happy at all time
- Help in food cooking and food preparation
- Maintain inventory of all fridge and freezer by adhering to first in first out procedure.
- Always keep the restaurant well organize and clean.
- Good positive attitude and great team player.
- Proactive in doing daily task without supervision.
- Constantly look for task to do, such as restaurant organization or cleaning of fridge or any other area.
- Marketing of our products and find ways to increase sales
- Distribute flyers when needed
- Score high rating for Mystery Shopper
- Cooperate with District Supervisor restaurant check and score higher rating
- Cooperate with Health & Safety for their routine check.
- Increase Google rating above 4.5
- Willing to complete the food handling certificate and smart serve.
