**Job Overview**

**Duties**
- Install, repair, and maintain roofs using a variety of materials including shingles, metal, and tiles.
- Read and interpret blueprints to determine the specifications for roofing projects.
- Perform caulking and sealing of roof joints to ensure waterproofing.
- Assist in the construction of roof structures by building frameworks and supports as needed.
- Use hand tools and power tools effectively to complete roofing tasks.
- Conduct inspections of roofs to identify issues or areas needing repair.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations while working at heights.
- Collaborate with other tradespeople, including carpenters and handymen, to complete projects efficiently.

**Skills**
- Proficiency in caulking techniques and materials.
- Strong ability to read blueprints and technical drawings.
- Experience as a carpenter or in related construction fields is advantageous.
- Familiarity with hand tools such as hammers, saws, and drills.
- Capability for heavy lifting and physical endurance for long hours on the job site.
