The Clinical Supervisor provides clinical and site administrative leadership during the evening and night shifts, weekend day shifts

and statutory holidays. The Clinical Supervisor uses clinical experience, knowledge and leadership skills to promote quality care,

utilization of best practices consistent with current legislation, organizational policies and procedures, and the organization’s

Mission, Vision, Values, Ethics and strategic directions.

**Role Responsibilities**
- Oversees operations of multiple inpatient units (Complex Care, Rehabilitation and Mental Health) units at

Providence Care Hospital (PCH) and Providence Transitional Care Centre (PTCC) sites and community programs

(as required) outside of regular business hours
- Acts as Officer-In-Charge during evenings, nights, weekends and statutory holidays, as the only on-site

management representative
- Works independently and collaboratively with staff to problem solve issues that may arise
- Responsible for effectively managing crisis and emergency situations
- Acts as a resource for the interprofessional team regarding clinical practice, policies and procedures
- Responsible for the effective utilization of human and other resources assuring quality of care, safety and security

of a highly vulnerable client population

**Required Qualifications and Experience**:

- Current unrestricted registration with A Regulated Health Professions College inf Ontario
- Education and experience in managing and mentoring clinical unionized staff,
- Three years of experience in a g supervisor role with relevant clinical practice with target populations such as Complex

Medical Care, Palliative Care, Seniors Rehabilitation and/or Rehabilitation, Seniors Mental Health, Adult Mental Health,

Forensic Mental Health
