**We Need Someone to Assist Us in Managing our East End Branch**

**What You’ll Do in this Role**:
As the Assistant Branch Manager, Your Responsibilities will be to Assist the Branch Manager in Managing the Branch when Required. Duties include (but are not limited to):

- Direct Responsibility for Management of the Sales Department and all Associated Goals, Objectives, and Tasks (Staff Scheduling, Overseeing the Departmental Operating Budget, Administrative Tasks etc.)
- Participation in Strategic Business Planning Processes, Decisions, and Implementation Strategies (Research and Analysis, Report Summarization, Review and Presentation, etc.)
- Taking an Active Role in Staff Management, including Staff Recruitment, Training and Development and Performance Management to Encourage Staff Engagement and Retention
- Helping Plan and Roll Out Special Events, Promotions and Other Store Promotional Activities or Initiatives to Help Achieve Identified Sales Targets and KPI’s
- Ensure Exceptional Customer Service, with the Ability to also Resolve Customer Concerns in Accordance with Company Policy and Customer Satisfaction in Mind
- As a Key Holder, be Responsible for All Procedures Required in Opening and Closing the Store (when scheduled)

**Desired Skills and Qualifications**:

- Excellent Communication Skills (Written, Verbal, Non-Verbal)
- Exceptional Leadership, Customer Service and Staff Management Skills
- Minimum 1 Year Experience as a Store or Assistant Store Manager (or Equivalent), Ideally in the Industrial Supply/Home Improvement Vertical will be Considered an Asset
- Strong Level of Comfort Using a Robust ERP System for POS Order Transactions and Processing. Experience Working with Other Large Database Driven Systems (Such as CRM Systems) will be Considered an Asset
- Post-Secondary Education (or Equivalent Experience); Minimum High School Diploma Required

**Hours of Work**:

- Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m., Occasional Saturday’s (As Required) 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.

**Salary**:

- $40k-50k Per Year, Dependant on Experience
