North Bay, Canada Riverside Electric Ltd Full time

Riverside Electric Ltd is a fast-growing, North Bay, ON-based manufacturer of industrial supplies and equipment. We are seeking a warehouse worker to join our team. The warehouse worker will be responsible for receiving, storing, and sorting product in a safe manner. The warehouse worker will also be responsible for preparing pallets for shipment.

**Essential Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Pulling orders from the shipping area and placing them on pallets or crates for shipment
- Storing product in the appropriate area in the facility according to stock control procedures
- Checking product for damage and ensuring that all tags are attached
- Maintaining a clean work environment
- Keeping inventory levels in compliance with shipping procedures
- Operating hand trucks, pallet jacks, forklifts, and other equipment as needed
- Communicating with shipping supervisor on an ongoing basis
- Performing other duties as assigned by management

**Qualifications**:

- Valid driver’s license required; must pass required drug test and background check.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds unassisted throughout the day; must be able to use hand trucks, pallet jacks, forklifts, and other equipment as needed.
- Ability to stand, sit, bend, kneel, reach, push pull, lift heavy objects throughout the day; must be able to use hand trucks, pallet jacks, forklifts, and other equipment as needed.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a sense of urgency.
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time
Part-time hours: 28 per week

**Salary**: $15.50-$26.82 per hour

Ability to commute/relocate:

- North Bay, ON P1B 8Z4: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Education**:

- DCS / DEC (preferred)

**Experience**:

- warehouse: 1 year (preferred)

**Language**:

- English (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Forklift Licence (preferred)
