We are looking to add a **Construction** **Field Labourer** to our Field Operations team based in Aurora.
- Night Shift position available with very competitive hourly rates **($39.21-45.21/hr)**:

**Responsibilities**
- Promote a safe work environment and culture.
- Follow instructions from supervisors to perform tasks involving manual labourer, construction equipment and power and hand tools.
- Accountable to ensure tools are properly used, treated with care, and returned.
- Effective communication with co-workers, supervisors, other employees.
- Help maintain a safe and clean job site by handling materials and storing them properly, picking up and removing all tools and equipment when not in use.
- Checking proper material is loaded before leaving to the job site.
- Unload material and fuel trucks/equipment at the end of every shift.
- Ensure daily maintenance/inspections are carried out for all equipment used and that defective equipment is written up via vehicle defect form and tagged out.
- Other duties as assigned

**Qualifications**
- 1-2 years' experience within the construction industry in a labour driven role
- Experience with road construction a strong asset
- Perform a wide variety of jobs and duties as assigned, with a high level of proficiency and accuracy
- Ability to work year-round in all types of weather which may involve muddy, slippery or icy surface conditions, and uneven terrain
- Valid Ontario driver’s license with a clean driving record
- AZ or DZ driver's license an asset
- Must be physically fit and able to lift up to 50lbs+ regularly
