We have two locations in Vancouver, one is in UBC Campus, another is in Vancouver west. We are seeking individuals who like to work in a team environment and are passionate about mentoring the students whose dream is to enter US Top 30 colleges, especially Ivy League schools

BLUBC offers professional educational consulting, university planning programs, mental support for parents and students. Our aims to help students in a variety of ways, from academic learning, extra-curricular activities, to achieving their future success. We inspire students to excel and to explore new ideas and possibilities. We strive to make meaningful growth that will benefit our parents, students, teachers and ourselves.

**Responsibilities**:

- Provide an overall study plan tailored to individual needs. Mentor students on a one-on-one basis in the whole process and keep the tasks on the right track.
- Communicate with all stake-holders in a student’s education - school, parent, tutors/advisors, etc. to create effective support for students.
- Familiar with American top universities admission requirements and grab an understanding of international education in depth.
- Conduct lectures and training session if necessary.
- Other duties as assigned by Director.

**Preferred Qualifications**
- Graduated from a U.S. top 30 university.
- Has prior academic planning, education consulting, school counselling.
- Fluent in English and Mandarin (speaking, writing, reading).
- Comfortable leading marketing presentations and student workshops.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelors or advanced degree.
- Passionate about taking responsibility for education and student service.
- Ability to establish priorities, meet deadlines and handle multiple demanding tasks.
- Resourceful self-starter, capable of working independently and in a team setting.
- Strong communication skills, desire to contribute ideas and best practices for a team.
- Have a strong sense of responsibility, be responsible for every student, and help students grow in all aspects;
- Be good at stimulating the initiative of students, guiding students to manage their time and energy effectively;
- Good at helping students find suitable activities and volunteer opportunities according to their majors direction;
- At least 2 years of experiences as an education consultant or similar role.

**Interview**

**Salary**: $55,000.00-$85,500.00 per year

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Evening shift
- Weekend availability

Supplemental pay types:

- Bonus pay
- Commission pay

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Vancouver, BC: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
