Earthworks Foreman

Twin City Construction Services Inc. is looking for an experienced Earthworks Foreman for our Civil Construction city projects in and around the Greater Edmonton Area.

The individual will work under the direction of the Earthworks Superintendent and will be responsible to adhere to safe working procedures and all company policies.

**Responsibilities**:

- Being hands-on in field construction directly involved in all aspects of project construction including planning, construction, quantity verification, and safety.
- Communicating to the project Superintendent upcoming needs for the project including materials, manpower and equipment.
- Coordinate daily tasks according to priorities and plans.
- Supervise the use of machinery and equipment.
- Ensures that all work is being done safely and in an efficient manner that maintains Twin City’s excellent quality.
- Responsible for training staff according to Twin City’s procedures and safe work practices

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience as construction superintendent or foreman, civil preferred.
- Must possess strong leadership/mentorship and interpersonal skills
- Solid understanding of equipment operation.
- Strong numeracy skills, record keeping and technology usage.
- Ability to read and execute plans, read grade stakes and use laser level.
- Ability to meet deadlines under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Promote a positive team culture across all departments and job sites with a focus on safety first and continuous improvement.
- Proficient in all aspects of earthworks including subdivision grading and roadbuilding operations.
- Proficiency in understanding the operations, troubleshooting, and maintenance of various types of heavy equipment.
- Valid drivers license.
