Your Contribution:
As a Materials Testing Technician you will work in collaboration with the Concrete Team.

Your main responsibilities will be:

- Field testing of civil construction materials such as soils, aggregates, concrete, and asphalt
- Learn about construction equipment, sequencing, and drawings
- Compaction testing of soils, aggregates and asphalt
- Concrete testing: casting cylinders and performing slump and air test
- Asphalt testing: Marshall analysis, pavement coring, and onsite sampling
- Preparing daily test summary report

Your Profile:

- A Degree or a Diploma in Civil Engineering or Civil Engineering Technology is an asset
- Construction experience would also be considered an asset
- Valid drivers license, current drivers abstract, and insurance claims experience letter will be required
- Technicians will be provided with a company truck
- Quick learner with a good attitude
- Must be able to work outside of normal working hours and any overtime assigned
