**Job Title**: QC Analyst Chemistry Co-op

**Department**: QC Labs

**Reports to**: Manager, Quality Control

**Location**: 1550 United Boulevard, Coquitlam, or as assigned

**Schedule**: Monday - Friday, 9:30 am - 6:00 pm, flexible as required

The QC Lab Analyst Co-op Student will be an active member of the QC team involved in the day-to-day duties in order to gain valuable hands on work experience in a busy lab environment. The QC Lab Analyst will take into consideration the company’s commitment to sustainability (people, the planet, and profit) in the planning and implementation of all actions related to the area of responsibility. Staff will be required to complete a medical exam at their own expense. Lab coat and all safety equipment will be provided.

**Job Description & Responsibilities**:

- Natural health product GMP sample preparation and testing according to USP or
- house methods
- Testing includes: physical, raw material and finished product testing, and involves
- the use of instrumental chemical methods such as HPLC, ICP,
- Spectrophotometers, Dissolution and other instruments
- Validate analytical methods and support validation projects as required
- Other duties as assigned

**Requirements**:
Technical
- Student majoring in the chemical sciences
- Strong analytical chemistry aptitude
- Knowledge of GMP and Validation an asset
- Computer skills - MS Excel/Word

Personal Attributes
- Ability to work independently within a team environment
- Excellent communication and written skills
- Excellent organization and decision making skills
