VGC is looking for ESL instructors to join our popular teen winter camp program from January 6th - 31st. We are looking forward to welcoming students from all over the world to study with us for our summer camp program - a mix of English lessons and activities which provides a true Canadian experience

We are looking for teachers for both the teen (13-18) camp and the junior (9-12) camp.

**Responsibilities**:

- Plan and deliver English language lessons to teenage students of various proficiency levels
- Create engaging and interactive lesson plans that promote student participation and learning
- Assess students' language skills and provide feedback on their progress
- Adapt teaching methods and materials to meet the needs of individual students
- Use a variety of instructional techniques, such as role-playing, group activities, and multimedia resources, to enhance learning
- Monitor student attendance and maintain accurate records of student performance
- Participate in twice weekly activities with an academic and social focus

**Skills**:

- Fluent in English with excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience working with teens and teaching English as a second language
- Ability to create a positive and inclusive classroom environment
- Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with students and colleagues

VGC is an accredited institution in downtown Vancouver which has been delivering ESL programs for 20 years and we are looking for instructors who are passionate about teaching teens and English as a second language.

Experience is preferred, online TESOL courses will not be considered.

Classes are delivered Monday to Friday, starting at 8:45. This is a set schedule.

**Job Type**: Fixed term contract
Contract length: 4 weeks

Pay: From $776.40 per week

- Bachelor's Degree (preferred)
