**Position: Experienced Foreman -**Fence Installation**

**Reports to**: General Manager

**Location**: Kitchener, ON

**Employment Type**: Full-Time

**Overview**

**Key Responsibilities**

**Hours**:

- 40-44 hrs minimum per week.
- Overtime paid at 44 hrs a week.

**Project Supervision**:

- Oversee daily fencing operations on assigned projects.
- Coordinate and delegate tasks to crew members to ensure timely project completion.
- Monitor progress and ensure compliance with project specifications and company standards.

**Team Leadership**:

- Train and mentor team members on proper fencing techniques and safety protocols.
- Promote teamwork, efficiency, and professionalism among the crew.
- Address and resolve any conflicts or challenges on-site.

**Fencing Installation & Maintenance**:

- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, drawings and site plans.
- Perform or oversee the installation of various types of fencing (e.g., chain-link, wood, vinyl, metal, or custom designs).
- Perform or oversee the installation of other various types of materials (e.g., Guiderail, Road Signs, Bollards, P-Loop & Access Gates, Hand-Rail) considered an asset
- Inspect completed work to ensure durability, alignment, and adherence to client requirements.

**Equipment & Material Management**:

- Operate and maintain fencing tools and machinery.
- Ensure adequate inventory of materials and supplies on-site.
- Coordinate equipment needs and handle minor repairs as necessary.

**Safety Compliance**:

- Enforce company safety policies and maintain a safe work environment.
- Conduct daily safety briefings and ensure all crew members follow OSHA and company standards.

**Client Interaction**:

- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients on-site.
- Communicate project updates and address client concerns professionally.

**Qualifications**

**Experience**:

- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in supervising crews within the fencing industry
- Must be able to receive a work order and perform the tasks as specified

**Skills**:

- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to read blueprints and perform accurate measurements.
- Strong knowledge of various construction/fencing materials, tools, and techniques.

**Physical Requirements**:

- Capable of performing physical tasks, including lifting heavy materials and working outdoors in various weather conditions.

**Certifications**:

- Valid driver’s license (required). AR preferred or willing to upgrade.
- Equipment operation certifications (e.g., excavator, skid-steer) are an asset or training will be provided.
