**Job Overview**
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our culinary team. In this role, you will play a vital part in the food preparation process, ensuring that our kitchen operates smoothly and efficiently. You will assist in meal preparation and contribute to delivering high-quality dishes that meet our restaurant's standards. **Responsibilities**
- Prepare ingredients for cooking, including chopping vegetables, marinating meats, and measuring spices.
- Assist in the cooking process by following recipes and instructions from the head chef or kitchen manager.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including workstations and storage areas.
- Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
- Help with inventory management by tracking supplies and notifying management of low stock levels.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely meal preparation during peak hours.
- Participate in daily kitchen operations, including cleaning equipment and utensils after use.

**Skills**
- Experience in a kitchen environment, preferably in food preparation or line cooking roles.
- Knowledge of food handling practices and food safety regulations within the food industry.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.
- Good communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members in a fast-paced environment.
- A passion for meal preparation and creativity in cooking techniques is a plus.

Pay: From $17.20 per hour
