Echo Ramp Program Manager

The ECHO Ramp Program Manager is a key role for advanced RF enablement at NXP. This person will be responsible for accelerating increased quality die output from ECHO GaN Fab. The Ramp Program Manager needs to work closely with facilities, global procurement, vendors, ECHO engineering, CHD fab, and the Radio Products Business Line to develop and execute the plan. The Ramp Program Manager will ensure that the ramp is on time, within budget, and setup for long term success. Scope of the role includes, but is not limited to, managing capital expenditures, tool installs and qualifications, improving equipment availability and utilization, driving yield improvement and die per wafer increases, as well as reducing cycle time and increasing free capacity. Many tools will be required including standard work documentation/creation, workshops, kaizens, gemba, etc.
**Business Line Description**
NXP Front End Operations plays an essential role in the company’s success by ensuring the delivery of high quality, scalable, cost-competitive technologies and supply to create a competitive advantage for our customers.
**Primary Responsibilities**:
- Manage and drive a multi-disciplinary factory expansion project.
- Partner with the team to develop, maintain and execute overall project plan and governance including (but not limited to) resource planning, budget tracking and risk management.
- Communicate to all levels of company and factory throughout project life-cycles.
- Train/mentor team on project management fundamentals and execution.
- Partner with internal teams, support groups and key stakeholders to understand and address project constraints in a timely manner.
- Document and follow NXP business processes in support of capital expenditure and capacity expansion.
- Lead and significantly contribute to PMO (Project Management Office) implementation and maturity.
- Generate and consolidate presentations ranging from executive summary level or detailed technical level, depending on meeting audience.
**Job Qualifications**:
- BA with knowledge in manufacturing or BS in Engineering.
- Minimum ten years of semiconductor manufacturing experience industry experience driving similar factory ramps is required.
- MS Project, Sciforma or other Product and Portfolio Management tool experience.
- PMP certification is a plus.
- Knowledge in other Microsoft Applications such as Excel, OneNote, Team, Sharepoint, and Powerpoint. PowerBI knowledge is a plus.
- Strong foundational knowledge and program management approach to create project plan, establish timelines, create project budget, risk register, and stakeholder management.
- Ability to quickly recognize and articulate barriers and critical path to success across teams.
- Strong analytical skills, problem solving skills, and familiarity with complex environments.
- Strongly oriented toward process improvement and operational excellence.
- A highly effective leader who can develop and inspire a team to the highest levels of performance
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Critical thinking skills and proficient in risk and issue management.
- Comfortable working in a clean room environment with smock.
