Production Associate

Tricanna Industries Inc. is a contract manufacturing, processing, and packaging company in the cannabis industry, located in Mission BC. We are seeking committed, hard working, reliable production associates.

Our mission is to utilize the best technology and production practices available to provide full-service co-packing and processing solutions that maximize out clients’ efficiency and product turn over, while maintaining a high standard in compliance, corporate governance, and service execution.

The Production Associate carries out day-to-day tasks including facility cleaning and sanitizing, production room setup and take down, packaging of dry flower, manufacturing other cannabis products, labelling and record keeping. Excellent personal hygiene, workspace cleanliness, quality control measures and other tasks as assigned to ensure high-quality products must be maintained at all times.

**Job description**

The role and responsibilities are outlined below and are not limited to the following:

- Required to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), including lab coats, mask, gloves, and hairnets
- Follow all company standard operating procedures to maintain compliance with Health Canada
- Execute all filling and packaging in an efficient manner in compliance with the company’s applicable manufacturing procedures
- Ensuring compliance and accuracy involving all product security and product movement procedures
- Perform proper set up and daily operation of filling, packaging, and labeling.
- Utilize cleaning agents and sanitation tools to sanitize production areas
- Assemble, package and label multiple Company’s products.
- Accurate weighing of cannabis in various increments in grams.
- Accurate placing of weighed product into childproof vessels or containers;
- Correctly sealing and labeling all packages;
- Visually check and verify that assembled products meet Company Quality Standards
- Follow written instructions to ensure products are assembled and packed in accordance with customer specifications;
- Maintain proper documentation throughout all operations;
- Maintain SOP productivity continuously, as per the standard
- Follow directions by Lead, Coordinator, or Management regarding performance, attitude, attendance, and general productivity;
- Complete accurate data entry and documentation
- Comply with all provincial Occupational Health and Safety Regulations and company safety policies;
- Comply with all Quality Assurance requirements and policies;
- Maintain safe and clean work environment
- Step in when other tasks need to be completed
- Work overtime when required

**Qualifications**:

- Must be 19+ years to be employed in this role
- Must be able to work with cleaning chemicals

**Security Clearance**:

- Criminal Record check is **mandatory**

**Physical Requirements**:

- Must be able to lift ~ 20 lbs.
- Able to stand and sit for an extended period of time, as well as perform repetitive tasks with accuracy
- Able to work in loud, cool, bright environments for an extended period of time
- Frequent to continuous need for manual dexterity of both hands (handling, gripping, fine finger controls, etc.)

**Salary**
- $15.20 - $17 per hour dependent on experience
