What you'll do- Lead and manage the API Platform team, providing mentorship, guidance, and career development opportunities.- Oversee the design, development, and deployment of scalable and secure API solutions using technologies such as Java, SpringBoot, and AWS API Gateway.- Managing our modernization roadmap in partnership with Enterprise Architecture- Collaborate with multi
- functional teams, including product management, design, and operations, to define and prioritize API features and enhancements.- Ensure the API platform meets high standards of performance, reliability, observability and security.- Drive the adoption of best practices in API design, development, and documentation.- Foster a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and excellence within the team.- Manage project timelines, resources, and budgets to ensure successful delivery of API initiatives.- Stay up to date with industry trends and emerging technologies to drive innovation within the API platform.
What you'll bring- Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.- Proven experience in a leadership role within an engineering team, preferably focused on API development.- Strong technical expertise in API design, development, and integration, specifically with Java, SpringBoot, and AWS API Gateway.- Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and microservices architecture.- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound technical decisions.- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.- Demonstrated ability to manage numerous projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.- Passion for mentoring and developing engineering talent.
What you’ll get- The salary band for this position ranges from $113,500 to $210,900.
