We are looking for **C**asual Assisted Living Workers (ALW)**to join our **Columbia Garden Village** team in **Invermere**, BC. If you are a strong team player, then we would like to hear from you
**We are looking for someone who will**:
- Provide personal care services to residents such as bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, mobility and hygiene related duties as established in the individualized personal service plan;
- Respond to scheduled and unscheduled requests from residents for assistance;
- Participate in social and recreational programs, including group activities, outings, special event and opportunities for socialization;
- Perform housekeeping, laundry and dietary duties tasks;
- Assist with dining room preparation and meal service and tray service to resident rooms as required;
- Interact with residents, guests and staff in a courteous and respectful manner;
- Complete required documentation;
- Acts as a positive and constructive team player, creating exceptional customer experiences;
- Follow security and infection control policies and procedures; and,
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements include:
- Current registration and in good standing as a Health Care Assistant with the British Columbia Care Aide and Community Health Worker**Registry (BCCACHWR);
- Certificates in First Aid and Food Safe preferred;
- Must be able and willing to work nights, 12 hour shifts, and weekends;
- Effective communication, interpersonal and organizational skills;
- Ability to work independently and as a team-player;
- Physically capable of lifting up to 10kgs;
- Proven computer experience;
- Can provide a negative TB Screening test;
- A complete Immunization Records as outlined in the BC Centre for Disease Control for Health Care workers;
- Successful clearance of a vulnerable sector-criminal record check
**Compensation: $29.83 per hour**
