The Systems Administrator role at Maximizer CRM is an exciting and challenging role, requiring proficiency in many distinct technical fields.

**What You'll Do**:
The Systems Administrator will be responsible for the general maintenance and administration of several systems and platforms, including but not limited to:
**General**:

- Incident Management (Troubleshooting technology associated problems): connectivity to networked resources
- Hardware: phone, computers, laptops, peripherals printers
- Best effort support for specialized software (Sage, other Cloud based solutions as required )
- Ad-hoc training “how to” on use with common computing devices and software
- Working with staff to resolve server related trouble incidents
- Contacting external vendors on items requiring their services / support (i.e. IP phone system)
- Will provide general assistance on projects as a SME

**Configuring and installing**:

- New computers and computer accessories
- New printers/fax machines
- New phones
- New software

**Purchasing (Hardware / Software)**:

- Identifying needed resources and obtain proper approvals towards requisition
- Research if hardware/software requested is the appropriate solution within business technology standards
- Asset Tracking: track receipt of the item(s) and getting it/them in the door and functioning
- Procure hardware and software and be able to articulate and build a business case via a Decision Deck (using provided template)

**Maintenance**:

- Ensuring client machines are running to current standards - antivirus software maintained, server health monitored
- Ensuring all identified data is adequately backed-up, creating and performing routine workstation maintenance, upgrading older desktops (as per ever-green strategy)
- Managing the backup process involving cloud, onsite and offsite storage
- Documenting system changes (i.e. changes to user passwords, IP pools, licensing information, computer inventory, domain info, general procedures, server performance, and tech support requests)

**Support**:

- Primary contact for Emergency support on matters with no workaround and no ability to conduct work. Best effort to be on site in 1 hour
- Support Hours (non-emergency) are generally 0900 - 1700 with some flexibility considered as required

Responsible for Domain Name Service

Desktop

All Desktop Support (shared responsibility)

Win 10+ Environment

Patch Management

Responsible for patch Management for all defined platforms

Physical Plant

Responsible

Maintain integrity of data cabling

Patch panel management

Cable trays/runs

Maintain documentation and inventory

LAN/WAN

Responsible

Maintain network connectivity

Maintain documentation of systems

Data Backup/Restore

Responsible

Backups to be performed as needed

Restore services for deleted or corrupt files

Voice/Mobility

Responsible

Maintain 3CX VOIP voice platform additional vendor support provided)

Configure/distribute and trouble shoot corporate mobile devices

Cyber Security

Responsible

Maintain a strong cyber security footing

Work internally or with vendors to establish solutions/requirements

Assist with documentation/recommendations as required

Netapp

Responsible for general maintenance and patching

Administration

Office 365

Responsible for administration/account setup and maintenance, including Teams

Zendesk

Proficient in using and configuring Zendesk.

Zapier

Support internal API integrations to multiple systems: Hubspot, Maxio, Zendesk, Apollo, etc.

**What you’ll bring**:

- 5+ years of experience in a System Administration, Network Administration, or similar role.
- Experience with databases, networks (LAN, WAN) and patch management.
- Knowledge of system security and data backup/recovery.
- Familiarity with various operating systems and platforms.
- Resourcefulness and problem-solving aptitude.
- Excellent communication skills.
- A strong desire to learn new technologies and an aptitude to do so.
