**Who are you?
We’re looking for a
**VP of Operations **who is highly motivated to lead our OperationsTeam in the development of a new generation of leading-edge, high speed, automated hosiery manufacturing equipment.
As the
** VP of Operations** reporting to the
**COO**, you will lead vision, strategy, and results for our Operations Team at our Montreal factory. You will develop the framework for the overall manufacturing process therefore improving overall production efficiency. You are resourceful and gritty, constantly questioning the current status quo and relentless solving problems in order to drive continuous improvement. You have a vision for how automation can be used to revolutionize hosiery manufacturing.
**What can you expect from this role?** You will become the primary point of contact for the Operations n team. You will develop and execute an industrial operations strategy for the company.
**Responsibilities**:
- Set, track, and be accountable to weekly, quarterly and annual objectives tied to deliverables indicated in your roadmap;
- Drive high priority strategic initiatives partnering closely with other critical functions across the organization such as product, technology, finance, customer experience and revenue leaders to create hypothesis and recommendations;
- Monitor key business drivers including supply/demand, inventory, production, sourcing and distribution;
- Accountable for cost to produce, labor costs, BOM costs, waste rates, overhead costs, WIP, greige, product quality, fulfillment costs, fulfillment speeds, and raw material inventory levels;
- Be an integral part in executing our aggressive product launch roadmap;
- Own our entire supply chain and logistics network, managing all internal teams and partners;
- Remain cognizant of technological advances in the field and be able to identify areas of use in the organization;
- Help to scale-up existing supply chain functions and systems, while driving standard operating procedures;

**Requirements**:
- Previous experience working in apparel manufacturing specifically, working on the ground in a factory;
- Engineering / smart factory experience;
- Good with numbers, financial model and forecasting;
- Designed and launched products. You have both succeeded and failed in launching new products and have a thorough understanding of ROI;
- Experience leading high-performing teams, product developers and enjoy coaching your teams to their maximum potential;
- Consistently and successfully navigated complex strategic decisions involving multiple functions, are comfortable weighing all options and making cross-functional trade-offs in an effort to prioritize effectively;
- You are Resilient. You can effectively cope with change, and routinely find ways to advance work and projects in the face of uncertainty or changing circumstances;
- You are a practiced active listener, and are comfortable asking clarifying questions;
- You are comfortable generating insights and communicating recommendations to all levels of the organization;
