**Overview**

**Duties**
- Operate vehicles in compliance with all traffic laws and regulations.
- Transport freight to various local destinations, ensuring timely delivery.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections on vehicles to ensure safety and functionality.
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper handling of materials.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of mileage, fuel usage, and any incidents.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding delivery schedules and any issues that arise.
- Assist in the maintenance of vehicles, including basic automotive repairs as needed.
- Operate forklifts or heavy equipment when required for loading or unloading freight.

**Skills**
- Proven experience in commercial driving with a valid driver's license.
- Knowledge of freight handling procedures and safety protocols.
- Ability to operate forklifts and heavy equipment safely.
- Basic automotive repair skills to address minor vehicle issues on the road.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for record keeping.
- Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with team members and clients.
- Ability to work independently while adhering to company policies and procedures.
