**Job Title**: HACCP Coordinator (Intermediate position)

If you are passionate about food safety and quality assurance, then we would like to talk to you as we are seeking a HACCP Coordinator to join our team. Reporting to the Quality Assurance Manager, the HACCP Coordinator is responsible for monitoring process control and critical control points in the food production process while ensuring that all staff comply with cGMP and food safety policies.

**Responsibilities**:

- Coordinate and participate in the development of HACCP plans, prerequisite programs and take lead in the implementation and maintenance of such.
- Contribute to building a Food Safety Culture throughout the organization.
- Monitoring all production staff for cGMP and HACCP compliance.
- Identify areas of continuous improvement and unaddressed hazards.
- Maintain and update facility HACCP system to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements (SFCR, FSEP, FSVP, FSMA and other International regulatory agencies).
- Perform annual reassessment and validation of HACCP system.
- Update and develop Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), Sanitation Standard Operating Procedures (SSOP), Food Safety Programs, Policies and Procedures.
- Develop training materials and train new and existing staff on all food safety prerequisite programs (PRP).
- Perform on site food safety monitoring and data recording in a timely and accurate manner.
- Input daily production data from paper to electronic format.
- Organize and file all food safety records while maintaining the company’s internal HACCP FSP registry.
- Conduct semi-monthly, monthly, semi-annual and annual facility food safety audits.
- Facilitate and assist with SFCR, GMP, HACCP and any 3rd party (customer) food safety audits.
- Receive and record data on all inbound raw materials (LOT control) and record data on all outbound finished goods (finished product LOT control) on paper and electronic format.
- Receive and investigate consumer complaints, conduct root cause analysis and facilitate corrective action(s) if required.
- Coordinate and maintain all certificates of analysis (CoA) issued by 3rd party laboratory as it relates to the facility’s environmental monitoring program (EMP), allergen and finished product testing policies.

**Qualifications**:

- Completion of post-secondary education
- Food Handlers Certification
- Food Safety, HACCP certification
- Knowledge and experience with SOP’s, SSOP’s and cGMP’s
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office including Excel and Word

Must be well organized and demonstrate effective time management skills

Pay: $40,000.00-$45,000.00 per year
