We are a well-established, family-run manufacturer / fabricator company in Burnaby (near Brentwood Mall) known for the excellence of our workmanship and installations, looking for a full-time Water Polisher for long-term commitment. The hours are Monday - Friday, 7:30am - 4:00pm with occasional overtime. We offer you a competitive wage based on experience, sick pay benefits, AND medical/dental benefits are available after probation period. If the work calls for some overtime, you will be paid overtime We support and promote proven dedicated and hard-working individuals. **About the Job**: - See "Experience" section below - Working with the water polishing machine - Heavy lifting on a daily basis - Must wear steel toed gumboots (partially compensated after the 3-month probation period and each year thereafter) - Safety is taken seriously - Extreme attention to detail - Complete projects within tight deadlines - Time manage multiple projects or tasks - Other tasks as assigned by the foreman or manager **About You**: - Must be legally able to work in Canada - Able to handle heavy lifting - Reliable and responsible with a strong work ethic - Enthusiasm to learn - Willingness to pitch in and help co-workers - Able to stay calm under tight deadlines - Excellent attention to detail and focus on producing quality work within deadlines **Experience**: - Work on a water polisher - although we are willing to train a committed employee if experience is limited. - Able to read measurements and understand drawings - Understands the fabrication process with knowledge of natural stone We would like to thank all applicants, however only those who qualify for an interview will be contacted. **Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent **Salary**: $25.00-$35.00 per hour **Benefits**: - Dental care - Extended health care - On-site parking Flexible Language Requirement: - French not required Schedule: - 8 hour shift - Monday to Friday Supplemental pay types: - Overtime pay Work Location: In person
