**Job Summary**

**Responsibilities**
- Creating detailed engineering drawings and layouts for our glass manufacturing and processing operations using AutoCAD software
- Developing and preparing engineering designs and drawings from preliminary concepts, sketches, engineering calculations, and specification sheets
- Producing accurate documentation packages and drawing sets that comply with internal standards and industry best practices
- Verifying and checking design drawings to ensure alignment with project specifications and quality standards
- Collaborating with engineers, project managers, and production teams to communicate technical details and support smooth workflow
- Operating CAD workstations and drafting equipment to efficiently complete assignments
- Continuously identifying ways to optimize drafting processes and improve quality outcomes

**Requirements**:

- Experience of 1-2 years in Auto CAD position
- Proficiency in AutoCAD is required.
- A degree or certification in CAD technology or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
- High School diploma or GED equivalent is required
- Broad knowledge of machining techniques and CNC machine tooling
- Familiarity with 2D and 3D animation techniques is a plus.
- Extensive experience in glass fabrication or a similar manufacturing environment, with a focus on programming
- Exceptional analytical skills
- Clear understanding of drawings; excellent blueprint reading skills
- Ability to write clear and concise reports, correspondence, and procedures with conformance to the prescribed style and format.
- Ability to deal with several abstract and concrete variables to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
- Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities.

Pay: $24.00-$26.00 per hour
