**Nightshift Forklift Operator - Cambridge, ON**
Permacon, a CRH Company, is a leader and pioneer in the manufacturing of concrete masonry and landscaping products. Permacon is a division of Oldcastle APG and operates 9 plants in Ontario and Quebec.
We are currently looking for **Nightshift Forklift Operators** at our **Cambridge Plant**. The forklift Operators must be available to work in the yard and in the tumble room.
The schedule is Monday to Thursday, 6:00 pm to 6:00 am

***Main Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Load, unload, sort, check, move, wrap, package, store and/or pile different products, material, raw material (pallets, skids, plates, blocks, paves)
- Perform yard and plant clean-up and Plant housekeeping. Employee must keeps his work area clean.
- Participate in production as requested.
- Participate in preventive maintenance of equipment or products change as requested.
- Communicates to competent persons any quality, abnormalities or faulty situations in regards to the product, batch, quality, machine, equipment, workplace or other.
- Work as a team.
- Wear safety personal protective equipment as required for this position, work safely and observes all safety procedures such as lockout procedure, etc..
- Learn basic machine function.
- Performs all other related tasks requested by his superior

**Qualifications and requirements**
- High school diploma
- Forklift Licence
- Team work oriented, initiative; responsible, able to react, to be precise; methodical
- Organized, must be able to work with established procedures, guidelines, people and under immediate supervision
- Must be able to learn quickly and have capacity to safely physically handle weight up to 20kg
- Must have judgement and communication aptitude
- Must be able to react efficiently and to operate equipment safely and efficiently
- Must have an excellent attendance record
