**OVERVIEW**

The Digital Marketing Media Intern will assist in the successful execution of paid media, and search marketing mandates in line with prescribed objectives

**WHAT YOU WILL DO**

Media and Search Marketing Campaigns
- Research and recommend media placement options for media programs
- Organize creative requirements for execution and share with creative team
- Gather campaign elements for set-up (banners, tracking, etc)
- Keyword research for search campaigns
- Develop round 1 text ads
- Deploy/traffic the campaigns
- Ongoing monitoring of campaign performance
- Recommend optimization strategies to improve performance of campaigns
- Support reporting requirements for campaigns
- Data gathering for competitive analyses and strategic planning documents
- Research industry benchmarks
- Admin and finance support to Head of Media

General
- Assistance with completion of general departmental tasks, as required.
- Gathering information for client updates

**WHAT YOU WILL BRING**

Experience
- A current student or recent graduate of a university/college program in a related field
- Previous experience in related role (asset)

**Skills**:

- Advanced skills in Google Apps (Google Docs)
- Strong analytical skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail.
- Excellent organization and time management skills
- Excellent interpersonal and decision-making skills
- Responsible and autonomous
- Ability to deal with stress, pressure and tight deadlines.
- Strong written and oral communication skills in both English and French
- Knowledge of Google Ads (asset).
- Knowledge of Analytics tools (asset)

Interests
- Strong interest in online media, search marketing
- Strong interest in digital marketing and its evolution
- Curious, by nature

**Job Type**: Internship / Co-op
Contract length: 6 months
