Catered Affairs is seeking an experienced chef OR cook to join our team immediately. We want a motivated individual who takes direction well and is not afraid to ask questions. You’ll work in a fast-paced kitchen with a team of 2 to 5 members, preparing diverse, high-volume meals tailored to our clients.

**Responsibilities**:

- Collaborate with the catering team to deliver exceptional service.
- Prepare complete meals for groups of 10 to 1,000 people for various events. Oversee kitchen operations and maintain accurate inventory records.
- Plan and conceptualize meal presentations.
- Provide guidance to staff and foster teamwork.
- Work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends although WE DO NOT WORK HOLIDAYS:).
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation in the kitchen.
- Create visually appealing food displays.**Requirements**:

- Minimum 2 years of supervisory culinary experience.
- Proven ability to prepare meals for large groups and manage food costing. Strong communication skills.
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs (23 kg).
- Must have a valid driver's license in Ontario and pass a Police Vulnerable Sector check.
- Ability to craft innovative menus and knowledge of international cuisines.
- Culinary diploma and Smart Serve certification are assets but not required.
