Beneva Insurance is seeking a bilingual customer service associate to work in a call center type environment, providing excellent customer service to clients both over the phone and written, in regards to their health and wellness claims.

JOB DUTIES- Answers incoming calls from customers related, but not limited to their policies and technical issues while delivering outstanding customer service.- Resolve customer issues in a timely manner while maintaining our service level agreements.- Adjudicate health and wellness claims based on each groups guidelines- Provide clients with recommendations regarding SSQ services and products- Understands the various federal and provincial government health related programs in order to accurately answer requests and/or refer the insured to the appropriate resources.- Creates, maintains and revises customer profiles and history- Performs the necessary research to respond to various requests coming by phone, or written correspondence. This may include communicating and working with other department in order to obtain the necessary information- Regularly participates in continuous training to maintain and update their knowledge and making sure that the information provided to customers is accurate.- Interprets customer requests and needs in order to provide management with suggestions for improvement.- Participates in group activities organized by management.- Performs other duties upon request.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE
Academic- Diploma in Business Administration or a related field is an asset
Experience- At least 1-2 years of experience in customer service and a call center type environment- Experience in the group health and dental insurance field is a strong asset
**Skills**:
- Passionate about customer service and offering an outstanding service experience.- Excellent command of both written and oral English and French.- Ability to work under the pressure of key performance indicators- Strong verbal and written communication skills.- Has a passion for continuous learning- Strong organizational skills- Active listener- Ability to adapt to a changing, and fast paced environment- Ability to work in a fast paced, changing environment- Availability to work flexible shifts from 8am to 8pm.
