We offer medical, dental and vision coverage, life insurance, employee assistance programs, company discounts, perks and more for most full-time positions Start your phenomenal career with Allied Universal today Allied Universal is seeking** Security Professional**in North York, ON. **Title**:Security Professional** **Type: 1 Full Time and 3 Casual guards required** **Location**: North York, ON (close to Dufferin and Steeles)** **Payrate: $20.18**/hour** **Schedule: Monday to Sunday** **Shift: day, evening & nights (various shifts)** **Due to site requirements in pharamecutical, individuals will be required to provide proof of vaccination for the following**: - **Diphtheria**: - **Pertussis**: - **Tetanus** **Provincial coverage for vaccinations. Additional fees will be covered by Allied Universal that are associated with the vaccination process.** **Overview**: **Key Responsibilities**: - Monitor access control and CCTV systems - Patrol large areas, on foot and by vehicle - Communicate professionally with staff, including site management and security teams - Handle security incidents and emergencies calmly and efficiently - Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth shift transitions and consistent security coverage - Conduct regular patrols and site inspections to maintain security standards **Requirements**: - High school diploma or equivalent/GED or equivalent work experience - Must have 1-2 years of experience in a Hospital or Corporate Office Building. - Must be **25 years of age or older** due to company vehicle insurance requirements. - **Valid (G) Licence (Ontario),** with a clean drivers abstract. - Eligible to work in Canada for **40** hours a week, due to shift requirements. - Must have a valid Ontario Security License. - Standard CPR or willing to obtain one (reimbursement will be provided) - Proficient with Microsoft Office and use of computers - Proven experience with CCTV camera monitoring. - Position requires "foot patrols", extended periods of walking (indoors/outdoors) - Ability to drive in all weather conditions, as patrols are required using company vehicles. - Standard First Aid and CPR (reimbursement provided where necessary) - Physically capable of standing or walking for long periods, climbing stairs, and occasionally lifting or carrying up to 15 kilograms. - Excellent communication and customer service skills **Benefits**: - Opportunities for career growth and advancement. - Comprehensive health and dental benefits - Paid training and development programs. **Disclaimer**: **Closing**: **Requisition ID**: 2025-1346725
