**About the Role**
**Duties & Responsibilities**
- Create and maintain regular social media content including video creation and editing
- Post and maintain events on our website events calendar
- Work with our team to post relevant content according to agreements
- Work with team to assist with the development and execution of organizational events and campaigns
- Article/news handling - editing and uploading to Website
- Design and assist in execution of campaigns to promote specific programs and initiatives
- Newsletter schedule management, content production and distribution
- Manage and respond to social media messages and comments
- Assist in press release development and distribution

- Is passionate about 2SLGBTQI+ advocacy and economic empowerment
- Has lived experience in the 2SLGBTQI+ community
- 2+ years’ experience in a similar role
- Bonus: a relevant postsecondary diploma or degree

- Video editing software
You may be required to travel to attend chamber events, and work weekends and extra hours when it is necessary to do so.
**Compensation & Details**
Compensation for this role is sourced from temporary government funding and continuation of the role is contingent on the chamber becoming profitable after the government funds have been exhausted.
Start Date: TBC (July 2025)
Contract: Until March 31, 2025 (9 months)
Hours of Work: PT, 25 hours per week
Place of Work: Hybrid remote, within Ontario, some in-person meetings and events (depending on the location of the successful applicant)
Pay: $30/hourly
Perks & Benefits: Casual work environment, flexible schedule, opportunity to create significant positive social change, travel allowance when necessary
Reports to: Executive Director
