**Overview**:
Wallace Perimeter Security is looking for a skilled Assembly Technician to join our team. As a **Gates Assembly Technician**, you will be responsible for assembling and fabricating various components and products. This is a hands-on role that requires strong mechanical and some basic electrical knowledge, as well as proficiency in using power tools and hand tools.

**Duties**:

- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings
- Assemble components and products according to specifications
- Use power tools and hand tools to perform assembly tasks
- Conduct quality control checks to ensure products meet standards
- Perform low voltage electrical wiring and connect components
- Troubleshoot and resolve assembly issues
- Collaborate with team members to improve assembly processes
- Maintain a clean and organized work area

**Experience and skills**:

- Previous experience in assembly or a related field is preferred
- Proficiency in using power tools and hand tools
- Able to work with metal and wood
- Familiarity with low voltage electrical wiring and schematics
- Mechanically inclined
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Must be organized, flexible, proactive and respectful in the interactions with co-workers
- Good physical condition with the ability to occasionally lift up to 100 lbs.
