With a population of approximately 53,000, North Bay is a beautiful, vibrant and diverse community nestled between Lake Nipissing and Trout Lake. Conveniently located just three and a half hours from major Ontario centres such as Toronto and Ottawa, North Bay is a progressive community well positioned for growth.

**Qualifications**:

- Minimum (1) one year diploma in environmental science or related field.
- Six (6) months previous Landfill or equivalent acceptable experience.
- Forklift training certificate
- Valid Ontario Class ‘G’ License.
- Proficiency in the use of computers and Microsoft Office software.
- Demonstrated ability to deal with the public; good communication skills.
- Cash handling experience
- Sufficient clerical ability to complete daily reports.

**Hours of Work: On call as required d**ays and weekends**

**Environment: Unionized**

**Rate of Pay: $28.88 per hour**
