Commercial Client Advisor

The Commercial Client Advisor role assists the Client Executive in providing the highest quality service to CapriCMW clients; coordinating the administrative and marketing processes within their sales team
**Essential Functions**:
- Work with Sales and Broking team in planning, gathering and compiling of necessary information on new and renewal business
- Participate in assessing client’s needs, developing positive, helpful and quality relationships with clients as needed
- As directed by Client Executive (CE), assisting with renewal information and document update requests to client and ensuring that comprehensive and complete underwriting information is documented; tracking and following up on renewal list
- Prepare necessary renewal/new business documentation including cover notes, invoices and letters
- Follow-up process and review of final policy documentation
- Assist in administering and managing the information process provided from CE or client to other team members
- Provide support to CE preparing proposals and submission drafts, CE drives the content while CCAdvisor prepares it, and is responsible for draft and final submission when marketing the account themselves
- As directed by CE, simple follow-ups for client information
- Ensuring accuracy of and signing policy, endorsement and certificate documentation
- Ensuring EPIC is accurate and up to date, providing direction and support to other team members to ensure EPIC standards are being met
- Process and market mid-term change endorsements and process certificates in EPIC or Certificate Exchange
- Assist CE in clarifying certificate requests and provide clear direction in processing
- Market some accounts as assigned
- Report claims and assist the CE in monitoring the information process with claims department
- Assist CE on receivables follow-ups as needed
- Resolving accounting issues and discrepancies
- Flexible to manage clients and workflow with CE
- Participating and contributing as needed in marketing, insurer and client meetings as technical expert
- Back-up to CE and other department members during absences and busy periods
- Adhere to all Company policies and procedures, and industry standards
- Participate in learning opportunities to develop skill-set and knowledge
- Other duties may be assigned or requested

**Qualifications**:
- High school diploma, with some post-secondary education in related field
- Level II Insurance license
- Minimum 2-3 years commercial insurance experience
- Basic to intermediate computer skills, with working knowledge in Excel and EPIC
- Ability to self-manage and maintain a varying workload
- High degree of accuracy and attention to detail required
- Positive attitude and ability to work with a team
**Language Skills**:
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
**Reasoning Ability**:
Solution-oriented with ability to problem-solve and collaborate with other team members
**Work Environment**:
- Independent role responsibilities, coordinating workflow within a team setting
