- About The Job**Responsibilities**:
On a day-to-day basis, you will be responsible for handling tasks that meet the operational objectives of the property, including:

- Working closely with management, the A/R Specialist is responsible to:

- a. Post lease charges monthly
- b. Process in a timely manner deposits for rent charges for all properties
- c. Record and process all other deposits (e.g. HST refunds, mortgage payments)
- d. Reconcile A/R accounts
- e. Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies
- f. Monitor A/R account balances monthly to ensure accounts are clearing
- g. Prepare monthly A/R Reports
- Maintain tenant ledgers and receivable lists for all income-producing properties
- Generate reimbursements to tenants
- Analyze and resolve issues and answer questions from both internal and external sources
- Handle the input in the system of lease set-ups, extensions and renewals
- Make recommendations for process improvements
- Process daily banking transactions
- Act as the primary backup for the Manager, A/R

**Qualifications**:

- 5+ years of experience in the real estate sector is highly desirable
- General accounting knowledge, including experience with A/R and commercial leases
- Attention to detail and high level of accuracy
- Demonstrated time management skills and the ability to work effectively in a deadline-driven environment
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Hands-on experience with JDE EnterpriseOne would be preferred
- Demonstrated ability to work well as part of a team
